TIS the season to be jolly but, when it comes to partying, it pays to play safe. Don't let your guard down over the Christmas season remember to keep yourself safe, your belongings safe and your friends safe.

That's the advice from Coleraine Safer Dancing and Door Supervisors Committee. When enjoying your night out at licensed premises you can be assured that certain safeguards are in place to ensure your safety.
If you're going out to places of entertainment remember to take approved photographic I.D. as proof of age, always plan your journey home and avoid going home alone.
The Chairman of Coleraine Safer Dancing and Door Supervisors Committee Trevor Clarke sends this message to all patrons visiting places of entertainment: "Don't Switch Off at Christmas", remember our 'B Safe check list'.
• Never go home alone • Always use a registered taxi • Let your friends know where you are going • Always look after your friends • Always carry approved photographic I.D. • Never leave your drink unattended • Never accept a drink from a stranger • Never ever drink and drive • Keep and emergency contact number on your mobile (Store it under ICE) • Door supervisors are there to help you- just ask.
