The licensee shall draw up; in partnership with the safer dancing
committee, a drugs awareness education strategy for the venue. This
should include the provision and location of drugs information on
the premises.
This information shall be in the form of Drugs Information Leaflets
containing the following: -
Drug risks, including warnings about overheating.
Salt intake and the safe consumption of water following ecstasy
use.
Sources of confidential help and advice.
Drugs and the Law.
The care of persons who become ill.
Drugs information leaflets – produced and distributed by Health
Promotion Agency Northern Ireland Safer Dancing 2001.
The drugs information leaflets display board must be clearly visible
within the venue and offer unobstructed access to the patrons.
